A Little About Me…

Stacie Kufahl, Owner of Overstuffed

As a professional organizer who works one-on-one with my clients, I find it very helpful if I’m able to get to know them a bit before we start our time together. I also think it’s important for them to have some background on me. Getting to know each other will make communication between us much easier, and we will be able to accomplish their goals that much more quickly. Please take a moment to learn a little about me before contacting Overstuffed to schedule your free in home consultation.

With a husband, various part time jobs and two growing boys I've had my own struggles with clutter and optimizing the space we had in our 2,000 sq ft home. We live a busy life between school, work, and every day events! I thrive on schedules and order, I need to know what's going on with who and when. This is why I'm so great at what I do. Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you I love to plan ahead and be in charge! My family is always impressed at my vacation planning skills and the attention to detail I give when planning events and holidays in our new home.

When I'm not organizing in clients homes, shopping for products, keeping my own home in order or taking care of my family, my favorite hobbies are running and working out. Staying in great shape and taking care of myself is all about self-discipline and order in my life. I spend 6-7 early mornings a week at the gym. I love this time I have to decompress and think about nothing but myself. I know this makes me a better wife and mother and allows me to be my “Best Self”! I share this information with you so that you know the type of person I am and hopefully you'll see that I'm willing and capable of bringing order into your home and life.

For 12 years we raised our boys in our 2,000 sq. foot ranch style home and organization/storage was a constant struggle. Less space doesn't change the amount of clothes, shoes, sporting equipment, toys, the list goes on and on of things that come into our home. Trying to store items over the years with no basement and just a two car garage has forced me to get creative and also be willing to part with things that I know deep down we really don't need. I'm aware that not everyone has the ability to easily part with items that they find sentimental or just think could be useful at some point. Some of us just have a hard time knowing where to start, and that’s where I come in! I'll be there every step of the way, helping you to decide what's important in your life, and what you can live without. Sometimes it's easier to think about the things you want to keep rather than what you should get rid of.

I hope this info about me and my life helps you visualize how I can help in your journey and shows you why I love to do what I do!
